Who Do You Pray To?
When it comes to prayer, everyone’s approach can be unique. Some may go directly to Father God, while others might include Mother God in their prayers. For some, Jesus is the only one they address. My own spiritual journey, which began in earnest at age 35, led me to explore these questions for myself.
Beginning My Spiritual Practices
As I started this journey, I turned to acupuncture—but not in the conventional sense. Instead of lying on a standard table, I relaxed in a lounge chair as the practitioner placed needles into my chakras to initiate a meditation session. The session lasted 40 minutes, though it felt like only 10 minutes had passed to me. During these meditative states, I began asking questions to Buddha. I asked things like why I was living in the desert and whether I was meant to be there. Often, the answers I received focused on why I was born in Michigan. Ultimately, I realized that being in the desert was a choice I had made, not necessarily part of a grand plan. Our choices—whether good, bad, or somewhere in between—shape the direction of our lives, even if it takes us longer to find the right path.
Discovering Reiki and the Archangels
Following my meditation experiences, I became attuned to Reiki. This practice deepened my connection with the Archangels. I began to pray to them, seeking answers and making requests. Each Archangel has unique gifts, much like each of us. I developed a close relationship with Archangels Raphael and Michael. Raphael assisted me during my Reiki sessions with others, while Michael provided strong protection. As I continued to call upon the Archangels, my own gifts evolved and grew. I found increasing comfort in reaching out to these divine beings for support.
Learning About Archangels
I started using the book “Archangels and Ascended Masters,” working through it page by page. I called upon each Archangel, learning to understand their vibrations and the gifts they offer. This practice brought me peace, especially during difficult times like my divorce. I would read their names, close my eyes, and invite each one to be with me.
Reflections on Divine Beings and Prayer
Through these experiences, I discovered that there are many Divine Beings here to help us on this planet. It is not just “Jesus”—whose true name, I learned, is Joshua ben Joseph. I came to realize that if a name can be spoken in vain, it may not be the true divine name. We often say “Jesus” and “God” casually, almost without thought. But try saying “Joshua” in vain—it does not come easily. To me, that name feels sacred. There is something in my heart that tells me I can only use that name with reverence, never in anger.
Experiencing the Power of Archangel Prayer
Praying to the Archangels has brought my needs to fruition with ease and quickness. I was told by the Archangels that they are here to help. I was also told that we aren’t calling on them nearly enough. In the last four years of my mother’s life, I encouraged her to ask Archangel Michael for help in any capacity. She called me once to share an experience: she needed to make a doctor’s appointment with another physician. Before reaching out, she asked Archangel Michael for an appointment the following week. Initially, the scheduler said it would be three weeks, but after checking again, she found a cancellation and secured an appointment for the next week. The more you practice asking the Archangels for help, the more things come to fruition easier and faster.
Summary:
Consider asking the Archangels for support—they are available and ready to assist those who reach out.
